The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) is a non-party political organisation. It provides opportunities for 11-18 year olds to use their voice in creative ways to bring about social change at both a local and national level.
UKYP representatives in East Sussex?
East Sussex has 3 Members of the Youth Parliament (MYPs) and 3 Deputy Members of the Youth Parliament (DMYPs) who, once elected the lead campaigns and influence decision-makers on the issues which matter most to young people. Members are elected from within the East Sussex Youth Cabinet every year in March.

Make Your Mark - Past and present results
The UK Youth Parliament’s annual ballot Make Your Mark is the largest consultation of young people in Europe. Most East Sussex schools take part, which means that you have a say on what young people debate in the House of Commons each November. The Youth Cabinet campaign on the top two issues.
